Cancellation Policies
Safe Tours Mexico’s activities are among the most popular tours and experiences in Mexico, so all our excursions are exclusively conducted by prior reservation.
Once you receive the confirmation email, your reservation is guaranteed. If you haven’t received it, please check your spam folder or contact us at [email protected].
The following policies apply only to reservations made through our website www.safetoursmexico.com.
Online Transaction Fee
A 12% Online Transaction Fee will be added to your order at checkout. It is listed in the Summary breakdown as Fees.
Cancellation Policy
More than 48 Hours Before Tour: If you cancel and request a refund at least 2 days (48 hours) before the tour, there’s a 10% charge for administrative expenses.
Less than 48 Hours Before Tour or No-Show: If you cancel less than 48 hours before the tour date, arrive late, or don’t show, no refunds or changes are allowed.
Date Changes
24 Hours Before Tour: You can change your tour date for free if you request it at least 24 hours before the tour. Changes depend on availability.
Changes to reservations or cancellations must be requested via email at [email protected].
Group Reservations
More than 15 Days Before Tour Date: Group reservations canceled more than 15 days before the tour date are subject to a 10% administrative expense charge.
Less than 15 Days Before Tour Date: We will accept date changes less than 15 days before the tour date, but there will be no refund. All changes are subject to availability.
No-Show, Late Arrival, or Within 48 Hours: No changes or refunds apply if you are a no-show, arrive late, or cancel within 48 hours of the tour departure.
For Cruise Ship Guests
All cruise ship passenger bookings must be made through your cruise line’s website. A full refund applies to all passengers booking through the cruise line website if the cruise misses port or is canceled up to the day of cruise arrival.
Charges to Your Credit or Debit Card
Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place your order on Safe Tours Mexico’s official site. This charge is typically reflected in your account within 24 hours.
Prices and Exchange Rates
All prices are quoted in US dollars, but charges will be made to your credit card in Mexican Pesos. We use the bank exchange rate of the day so that your bank statement reflects the published dollar price.
Credit Card Safety
SafeToursMexico.com wants you to feel safe when making a secure reservation online. For this reason, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your credit card number and other sensitive information when you book online.
This encryption process prevents unauthorized individuals from viewing your information, and it is securely transmitted over the Internet. Once received, your credit card information is not transmitted over the Internet again.
Fraud Prevention
As part of our Fraud Prevention policy, the person who made the purchase must present their credit card and personal identification at the time of check-in.
If the cardholder cannot be present, a copy of their credit card (both sides) and identification must be sent by email to [email protected] at least 24 hours before the tour.
